The restaurant uses QR code available on the table to order food. The ramen noodle texture and broth is good. Char Siew is made well, charred outside and melts in the mouth. Presentation is great and appetizing and we will patronized again

This has quickly become my go-to ramen spot. Since returning from Japan, I’ve struggled to find ramen in Texas that comes close to what I had there, and I had almost given up. Then I found this place. The ramen here is on par with some of the restaurants I visited in Japan. The noodles are especially impressive, and the chicken karaage reminds me of the street food I had while traveling. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and authentic. My only minor complaint is that I wish the chashu pork had a bit more char or caramelization. Other than that, I genuinely think this is the best ramen in the Austin area. If you’re looking for authentic ramen, add this place to your list—you won’t regret it.

We have been here multiple times. Like it. Personally I don't like the soup too creamy and salty and 512 meets what I expect. The food, service, and environment are all great. Parking is never an issue. Highly recommended.

Great ramen spot in North Austin. The noodles in Ramen are very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Spicy Tonkotsu is great - Chashu on top is fire smoked and adds a really good flavor to the ramen. Spicy Taiwan is also good but the broth is a bit intense in terms of flavor and also a bit greasy/oily. Their service is really good and quick - no nonsense and self order/pay option is something i really like. Vibe is very casual and neat! Perfect for a casual ramen date!

Ramen 512 this place is the real deal. First thing you notice is the interior, the decorations make it feel like you just stepped into a ramen shop in Japan just double the store size. The ramen bowls look small at first, but don’t be fooled. Once you dig in, there’s a perfect amount of noodles hiding under the surface. The broth is incredibly balanced and the pork might honestly be the best cooked pork I’ve ever had in ramen. If you go, I recommend the Black Tonkotsu ramen. The black truffle oil adds this amazing depth that takes the whole bowl to another level especially side of karaage chicken, fried perfectly. Hit it with a little lemon and it’s 🔥. Great vibe, amazing food, and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend.
